These terms govern your use of SQL Exercises, a learning service operated by Malamas Devs Ltd in Greece. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Contact us at info@malamasdevs.com if you have questions.
The service
SQL Exercises offers interactive SQL exercises, explanations, interview practice, and progress tracking. Exercises use sample company data, not your own database. The library and features may change over time. We aim to keep the service available, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that any exercise exactly matches a particular employer's SQL system or interview.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Use the service lawfully and do not try to disrupt it, bypass access controls, scrape it at scale, or submit harmful content. Do not put confidential, personal, or production data into the SQL editor; the exercises are designed for the sample datasets we provide.
Free access and trial
Some exercises are available without an account. Creating an account starts a seven-day trial of the full current library without a payment card. The trial does not automatically start a paid subscription. After it ends, full access requires a subscription; saved progress remains associated with your account.
Paid subscriptions
Current prices and included features are shown on the pricing page before checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you choose until canceled. Stripe processes payment and shows the total before you confirm it. You can cancel future renewals through Manage billing in your dashboard; access normally continues through the paid period. We may change prices for future purchases or renewals with notice where required. Contact us about billing errors or refund requests. Nothing here limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Content and your work
We own or license the exercises, datasets, explanations, design, and software in the service. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for learning while you have access. You may write and reuse the SQL queries you create. Do not republish or resell substantial parts of our course library or sample datasets.
Changes, suspension, and ending access
We may update the service or these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will provide notice where appropriate. We may suspend access for serious misuse or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion by contacting us. Canceling a subscription does not itself delete your account.
Responsibility
The service is educational. We do not guarantee a job, interview outcome, certification, or a particular business result. We are responsible for losses to the extent required by applicable law; these terms do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded or reduce mandatory consumer protections.
